Hey guys, I'm back with a sample review and this week I'll be reviewing ORLANE PARIS SUPER MOISTURIZING SERUM. Remember this is not a in-depth review since samples can only be used for 1-2days or have very limited uses.

I had a little trouble getting to my skincare products last night and I had no option but to settle for this little guy.
This really is super tiny and lasted me four uses.. and the results left me quite speechless from the very first use. If you're looking for super hydration, brightening and to add some plump-ing to your face this is THE product for you.

I used it as a stand alone product.though it's a serum, it's a almost as thick as a lotion/emulsion. you need a little cause it spreads like a dream and pat pat and you're all done.

I love this serum and looking forward to purchase the full size when my stash runs out! Have you trued any ORLANE PARIS products? Let me know in the comments below!

Another post after a being hiatus over three weeks, this time I was truly uninspired to blog or to test out new products for you guys.
I'll be reviewing a product I have been using for a quite a long time now.

I bought this after reading so may rave reviews about Naruko, for those who don't lurk around r/ab, Naruko is a pretty good Taiwanese brands famous for many products mostly for brightening and i hear that their sheet masks are super awesome!

I bought this product cause I wanted to try out a hyaluronic acid toner/serum and this was available for only $4.99 for 50ml. I think it's pretty generous for the price paid. I have been using for like four to five months now and I'm ready to share my experiences with you.

Texture; The Naruko Hyaluronic Acid Nectar comes in a pretty yellow bottle with an airless pump making it super easy and hygienic to dispense. The nectar is lightly sticky, golden and watery.

Product Description?

It deeply hydrates the skin while locks in moisture and replenishing dry skin.

Personal Experience;
Honestly, I didn't exactly enjoy using this product. There was nothing wrong with the product at the same time there was nothing spectacular about it either. I didn't find it to be hydrating nor did my sin feel mosturized, I'd recommend to used a heavily moisturizing cream later on your routine or it's a total miss for those who with dry skin. I also believe that this product gave me CCs.

Best suited for; normal skin
Price; $4.99

Where to buy; eBay, Naruko USA website

Rating;  2/5 Will not repurchase

I always tell myself that I should blog often. I'm particularly enthusiastic about the writing part, I'm however, very keen on testing out new products and photographing them.

I have been testing out ton of products lately, I always recommend patch testing though I don't actually follow. Thanks to snail gods, I haven't STILL had a bad reaction to any of the products I have tried out.

This week, I'll be reviewing something i bought to qualify for free shipping + cause it was on sale. We all do it, don't we?

Before hitting the purchase button I tried several searches for this product but, i found a very handful of reviews. I wanted to try it out, since it was on sale and it had niacinamide.
I have been trying to fade my PIH and brighten my skin lately, so I have been hoarding anything that has Arbutin, Licorice and Niacinamide in it.

Texture; I love the old school packaging, gold and brown very classy, I absolutely hate the dropper bottle in terms of it's functionality. The ampoule is a little thick in consistency and the dropper doesnot pick enough product and I have to dip the funnel/dropper in to the bottle twice to get enough product. *annoying*

I did check for COSDNA for the ingredients. I'm gonna be real with you'll, I'm not qualified enough to discuss ingredients, I started AB last November, found what works me through trial and error. I have linked cosdna for your reference.

Product Description?

The Ladykin Triple Fantasy ampoule rich with ferments, claims to whiten, smoother skin and help uncover vibrant and youthful looking skin with few days use.

It also claims to help the skin stay hydrated and smooth.

Personal Experiences; I have been using it every night for the past three weeks. My sister noticed a glow and my PIH have been rapidly fading. I can give all credit to the Ladykin Ampoule alone, I use other products rich with niacinamide.

I might not repurchase as I really hate the whole dropper bottle concept, when it comes to this product. I cannot really comment on it's youthful skin claims, but i did feel that does hydrate my skin to a great deal.

Best suited for; Aging and PIH

Where to buy; I purchased mine from

Price; 15-30$

Rating; 4/5 will not repurchase

Today, I’ll be introducing a new segment. Sample reviews, this is where I’ll be reviewing those tiny foil packets I receive with orders which I always end up dumping on my mother or throwing them away in a year or two.

I hope and pray that introducing this segment to the blog would reduce my need to try out new skin care every month and would drastically improve my financial status in the foreseeable future. *wink*
Every week, I’ll be trying one or more samples and giving you a short review, this would include a short description on functioning, my likes and dislikes about the product and will I take a plunge and purchase a full size of the product reviewed.

As this is my first sample review, I got a little excited and tried out a makeup sample, which is unusal for me.

I received like three packets of Purito BB cream samples last week and I was really skeptical about trying this out cause I have never heard about this brand before. After lot of reasoning with myself and since I’m on the market for a new BB cream I decided to give this a shot! And it disappointed me.

Skin Profile ; I’m a NC 20-25 with warm undertones

The product itself is grey, and very tacky and hard to spread. Poor me, without any prior knowledge about this product, I applied the BB cream generously. Which left my face with a grey/ white cast and I had a really hard time evening out the BB cream. Just so tacky! *meh*

Probably would suit someone with cool undertones?

Doesn’t do much on coverage either. It does oxides in like an hour, nothing spectacular. If you'd ask me, Purito BB cream has failed to impress me! Will not purchase.

Today's reviews based on a product that has immensely helped me when my skin is acting up like crazy.

Leejiham or LJH is a pioneer skin care brand that hails from Korea. If you're anything like me, you probably spend half of your day lurking around the Asian Beauty sub-reddit learning about new products and skin care, for you, LJH is not an unfamiliar brand as its known and raved by many for it's most popular product, the tea tree 90 essence.

I'm never the type that would shell out $38, which it retails for, to just to try it out. This has been in my wishlist for a long time and i bought it right away when i saw this on sale! * major score*

I use this after my essence or as a one step healer when my skin is acting up. Though my acne phase is pretty much over i still get one or two pimples during the time of the month. Does this help? Read on..

Texture; Eye catching packing with golden hues. Ampoule is non-sticky and sinks in to skin well.

Ingredients; Propolis Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract, Panthenol, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethyl Ascorbyl Ether, Hamamelis Virginiana Bark/Leaf/Twig Extract, Centella asiatica extract, Carbomer, Arginine, Spirodela Polyrrhiza Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Adenosine, Sodium Hyaluronate

LJH propolis ampoule contains 50% Propolis extract which is known for healing and nourishing. Niacinamide for brightening/ even skin tone and Centella Asiatica & Witch hazel extract to soothe skin and minimize the appearance of pores.

Product Description?

A multi-tasking, glow-creating serum ampoule packed with 50% Propolis extract and 20% Multi-vitamins. Perfect for giving an instant "gwang" (dewy glow in Korean) to skin. It also revitalizes skin, helping to even tone, smooth texture and improve dullness. For all skin types. Suitable for acne prone skin." - Glow Recipe

Personal Experience; I have been using the vita propolis ampoule on and off my routine for months. I have noticed that i reach out less for this than my Scinic honey AIO. Mainly because the hefty price tag * $38 per bottle  for 15ml bruh* * cry* It does give me a subtle glow the next day. For its healing super power the ampoule is celebrated for, didn't do much for me. * ymmv*

For best results use before sheet masking. Mix with your foundation for a dewy face.

Best suited for;  Acne prone/ sensitive skin

Price; $38

Where to buy; Amazon

Rating; 4/5 will test the rpoduct few more times and will repurchase if on sale.

Let me introduce you to a product that managed to impress me from the time I laid my eyes on it.

This lovely lady from BBcosmetic offered to send me some products in exchange for my honest review. ( who doesn't like free stuff, right! *wink* )

She was so nice she even let me choose the products I liked and managed to deliver within 3 days. Two thumbs up for BBcosmetic customer service!

I selected the Dear Packer Black Ginseng Gold Mask and another item for reviewing purposes.Dear Packer is relatively new to the KBeauty market, owned by the LG group the brand specializes in masks and packs.

This Black Ginseng Gold Mask, however, is a sleeping mask filled with Ginseng and Gold.Hence, the name.
Living up to its name the sleeping pack smells oriental, highly fragrant- which disappears after application , ginseng i presume, and filled with tiny gold flakes.

Texture; Beautiful eye catchy luxurious packaging, the mask itself is a colorless gel (hydro-gel)with tiny gold flakes and it comes with a cute little spatula

Ingredients; Water,Glycerin,Butylene Glycol,Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane,Niacinamide,1,2-Hexanediol,Panax Ginseng Root Extract,Sophora japonica,Betaine,PEG-150,Gold,Honey Extract,Pinus Densiflora Leaf Extract,Betula Alba Juice,Panthenol,Tromethamine,B5,VP/VA Copolymer,PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil,Algae Extract,Octyldodeceth-16,Lauryl Dimethicone,Polymethylsilsesquioxane,Adenosine,Hydrolyzed corn starch,Citrus Aurantifolia Oil,Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil,Trisodium EDTA,Peat Water,Abies Sibirica Oil,Sucrose,Coriandrum Sativum Fruit Oil,Rosemary Leaf Oil,Santalum Album Oil,Juniperus Virginiana Oil,Mica,Potassium Sorbate,Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose,Acacia Gum,Titanium Dioxide,Citric Acid,Ferric Oxide,C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer,Glyceryl Acrylate,

Oh niacinamide and vitamin B5! ;)

Product Description; Reduces the appearance of wrinkles, whitens and moisturizes.

I have been testing out the sleeping mask for the last few days. Sleeping mask as you may know, or not, are formulated to be used at the end of your routine.

Use it as an AIO than a sleeping mask for results!

I used this as the last step of my routine and as the only step of my routine. Two different results..

  • The sleeping pack, when used alone, I woke up with a bright smooth face, reduced inflammation and redness in an active hormonal pimple. Didn't notice any moisturizing/pluming though.
  • When used as the last step no visible changes!
Best suited for; everyone actually!

Where to buy; BBcosmetic

Price; $25.54 + FREE SHIPPING worldwide.

Have you ever purchased something luxurious just because it looked pretty and you wanted all that prettiness in your life?

Introducing the most prettiest bottle of honey goodness in my life. This needs no introduction if you are, an avid follower of r/asianbeauty like my self but, to those of who are yet to embrace the Asian Beauty goodness in to their lives. Let me introduce you to the best essence oil i have tried in my life.

Including an essence oil to my routine was a bit of a challenge but, quick search of the ingredients list really impressed me, with very mild acne trigger and 55% collagen extract and the pretty luxurious packaging. This was a winner to me.

Uncertain as to where to add this my routine I began by applying it on my bare face to test its texture. some of you might not agree with my ways of testing out products but, I'm one of those rare species who don't breakout from new skincare additions.

Let's take a look at that impressive ingredients list shall we?

Ingredients: Collagen extract , glycerin, water, methylgluceth-20, polyglycerin-3, niacinamide, ethanol, honey extract, aureobasidium pullulans ferment, theobroma cacao (cocoa) extract, royal jelly extract, propolis extract, chrysanthellum indicum extract, plukenetia volubilis seed oil, argania spinosa kernel oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, anthemis nobilis flower extract, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed extract, calendula officinalis flower extract, pentylene glycol, PEG-8, butylene glycol, glyceryl polyacrylate, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, adenosine, tromethamine, caprylic/capric triglyceride, octyldodecanol, cocoglycerides, sodium starch octenyl succinate, maltodextrin, calcium pantothenate, hydrogenated lecithin, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, tocopheryl acetate, pyridoxine HCI, silica, xanthan gum, carbomer, disodium EDTA, phenoxyethanol, fragrance

Niacinamide; aka vitamin B3 great for fighting PIH and sunburn.Helps brighten skin tone.

Honey. Royal jelly. Propolis; filled with anti-inflammatory goodness to help keep my hormonal acne at bay during the time of the month. Yum!

Lets talk texture, the essence is filled in a typical dropper bottle. I'll give 5/5 for the no hassle packaging. The essence itself is colorless and smells weird, artificial honey like. Not a fan of the smell though. I'm not a fan of sticky oily face unless it's my Scinic Honey AIO.

Add a drop of Banila Co. Miss flower & Mr.Honey Essence Oil to your foundation for a natural glow-y look.

because i have been using it with my foundation than as a part of my routine. The smell bugs me.I might repurchase cause I'm a sucker for a glow-y face.

until next time...
